Welcome to The Red Lion Inn, Penderyn; a family run, traditional 12th century drover's inn perched high on a hill with beautiful views over the village of Penderyn and Brecon Beacons National Park. Flagstone floors, log fires, traditional real ales and ciders gravity fed straight from the casks are accompanied by fabulous food lovingly created by our chefs from locally sourced ingredients to form a menu which changes regularly to reflect the very best of the season’s finest welsh produce. We have holiday cottage close by with two double bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, dining area, TV and complimentary WiFi.

We offer gastro pub classics, as well as tasting dishes at one of our event nights. Our Sunday roasts are legendary, and we are known for our use of Wales’s finest produce.

The Red Lion Inn is one of the best places to visit for food and drink in the Brecon Beacons. Couples love our cosy feel and tranquil setting. Families appreciate the beer garden and menu selection. As well as our traditional pub bar, we have lots of room for eating. The Restaurant offers an a la carte menu created by our chefs using some of the finest local produce.
